CCIM Kansas City is pleased to have Owen Buckley, President of Lane 4 Property Group give us updates on local projects including Metcalf South.   Owen Buckley began his career in 1985 as a retail leasing agent with one of the nation’s largest shopping center developers of its time, Leo Eisenberg Company. In 1992 he joined Kansas City’s R.H. Johnson Company, where he continued to specialize in tenant representation and development before becoming President in 1998. In 2006 Owen founded LANE4 Property Group, Inc. and assembled an experienced group of industry veterans. LANE4 has quickly emerged as one of the most active commercial real estate companies in the Midwest with their tenant representations, project leasing and over $200 million of completed development and acquisition of properties over the past three years.
Throughout his career, Owen has led in the search and successful procurement
of over eight million square feet in an eight state region for his tenant representation clients. His clients have included American Stores, Best Buy, Kohl’s, Petco, Walmart and many other local, regional and national retailers.
Additionally, Owen has been involved in the development and redevelopment of many projects throughout the Midwest including: Sporting Park (Kansas City, KS); 39Rainbow (Kansas City, KS); Corinth Square Shopping Center and The Village Shopping Center (Prairie Village, KS); Siouxland Towne Center (Sioux City, IA); One Kellogg Place (Wichita, KS); The Shoppes at Market Pointe (Papillion, NE); and Barry North (Kansas City, MO). Owen continues to thrive in serving retailers and helping them secure successful locations along with the leasing, development and acquisition of shopping centers and mixed-use developments.
